The handbook is intended to systematize knowledge in the field of organization and provision of multimodal cargo transportation. The publication contains 8 main blocks: basic terms from multimodal transport; types of multimodal transportation; multimodal transport networks and nodes; cargo units and places; logistic support of multimodal transportation; digital technologies in multimodal transportation; economic efficiency and risk management in multimodal transportation; customs regulation of multimodal transportation.
The publication is intended to become a desk book for future bachelors and masters of the educational program "Multimodal transport and logistics", ensuring the assimilation of the complex architecture of modern transport systems and the formation of readiness for practical activities in the conditions of the globalization of the transport services market.
